The estimator acts as the communication between the customer, part suppliers and insurance companies. From the start of the first customer interaction of the initial estimate until the vehicle is delivered after repairs are complete, the estimator provides clear and concise repair plans and diagnosis on the customer’s vehicle professionally and with empathy! The estimator will work with insurance companies for repair approval and parts suppliers to get the customers’ vehicle back on the road. Knowledge of vehicle builds is needed and experience in customer service is preferred.

  • Assess and diagnose initial damages when customer comes in for estimate
  • Communicate repairs needed with customer and insurance company provided
  • Communicate all updates and repair status with customer and insurance
  • Familiarity with “CCC” estimating and computers
  • Customer service experience

The body technician is responsible for repairing the body of the vehicle to like new condition. This includes frame work, reworking metals on outer panels and replacing panels as needed due to the impact. Familiarity of vehicle blueprinting to specific measurements is preferred. The body technician will disassemble the vehicle at arrival and address all damages and repair/replace what is needed.

  • Repair unibody and frame back to factory specification
  • Welding and metal work to repair panels on vehicle
  • Assess damages related to impact
  • The use of welder, hand tools, frame rack equipment
  • The use of bonding, adhesives, caulking

This individual will be responsible for vehicle arrival or vehicle departure. When the vehicle arrives, it will be dismantled until the point of no damage and the repair order will be assessed for additional damages. All damages will be documented and provided to the estimator for approval.

When a vehicle is complete through repair and paint, the individual would be responsible for putting the vehicle back together. During this, attention to detail regarding fitment of parts and quality of repairs is very important. This person is responsible for communicating any concerns with the estimator or the foreman.

  • Disassemble vehicle to the point of no damage
  • Document and communicate any additional damages from impact
  • Organization and attention to detail
  • Reassemble vehicle after repair
  • Address any concerns with estimator and/or foreman

The wash technician is responsible for bringing the vehicle back to new condition after the repair process. This individual is responsible for exterior and interior cleaning of the vehicle. This includes floor mats, carpet, seats, windows, dash panel, trunk, wheels, and the complete exterior of the vehicle. Checking the repair order and making sure all options work as in windows, door handles, lights, key fob, etc. This is the final step before delivering the vehicle to the customer so it is very important to pay attention to detail in regards to the repaired area.

  • Vacuum interior/trunk
  • Sanitize/clean interior trim

The refinish technician is responsible for painting the panels back to the factory finish standards. Using our state- of- the- art equipment, the painter is responsible for prepping, cleaning, mixing, and refinishing panels included in the work order. The customer will always see that bright factory finish when picking their vehicle up and we strive for that perfect color match and technique!

  • Assess repair orders
  • Pre clean areas to be refinished

  • Mixing of paints and primers to match factory color
  • Feathering of repaired areas

This position is a jack of all trades within our company. This individual is responsible for assisting the paint department in preparation of the vehicles to go into the booth and prepping the parts to be used in the repair process.

  • Preclean of parts/masking
  • Sanding/priming/blocking
  • Seal seam new parts
  • Mix paint tints to formula specifications
  • Dismantle LKQ
  • Prep parts to be used on vehicles
  • Minor maintenance around shop

This individual will gather a list of vehicles that are able to leave that day determined by the status of reassembly. They will complete reassembly, address a/c recharge, alignments, striping, decals and buffing if needed. This individual will start their day by working with the shop foreman to determine which vehicles have all of the listed parts to reassemble and get the vehicle moved into detail.

  • Check in parts for reassembly
  • Reassemble vehicle
  • Install striping, decals, nameplates
  • Recharge A/C
  • Perform scan for diagnostic codes

We offer auto detailing within the collision shop for our customers as well. This individual would be responsible for completing two separate detail packages for customers, their choice, aside from the clean up after the repair process. We offer a “Gold” and “Platinum” package. This person is responsible for bringing a customers vehicle back to like new condition. The goal is to complete 1-2 details per day and to work with the wash technician when needed at the end of the repair process.

  • Detail interior/exterior of vehicles with provided tools and cleaning materials
  • Remove road grime, light scratches, on exterior panels
  • Deep clean interior carpet and trim panels
  • Clean engine bay
  • Address any paint correction needed
  • Sanding/buffing exterior
  • Clean tires and rims
